Hey guys,

It's been a while since this topic was posted. However, tons of progress have been made on the new classes.
Most of the progress is however not visible since it is code, and code, and more code :)

But here you have an image of the current hats remade for the new classes:

Good news everyone! The wait is nearly over. :)

The two new classes are set to be launched in the days to come, should there be no setbacks. Yesterday Sandurr finished coding the handling of 2 different Daggers for the Assassin, check it out:

As I mentioned before in one of the Devlogs, we're taking our time to improve a lot of things from the original design. One of those changes is the ability for Assassins to equip 2 different daggers at once, instead of a single dagger that works as a 2-handed weapon. This results in more dagger combinations, thus adding a lot more diversification to the game. It also makes it more fun and challenging when you have to maintain and upgrade more than a single weapon. Most other classes have to upgrade 2 or more weapons/defenses, which is an expensive process, so we're also doing this for balance reasons. Shaman too, will be able to use Orbs (or Shields, if you're into that kind of thing) alongside Phantoms.

As for how it works in this particular case, both Daggers' stats stack up together and then are divided by 2 to find the average. This is a better approach than just having all Daggers with low stats and then having them stack up and not divide, for the latter could cause imbalance problems with weapon speed, spec, mixes/aging and possibly more.

Stay tuned for more updates!
